Partner — Digital Banking
Daniel Villarreal is a Partner at Alma Partners specializing in advisory for digital banking and financial innovation, combining product strategy with technical execution. He has led projects in neobanks and fintech platforms (onboarding and KYC, sponsor bank alliances, open finance APIs, data governance) and in analytics applied to finance (risk and credit models, fraud, forecasting, reporting automation, and MLOps). He has a track record as a founder and CEO in technology, and experience directing operations and regional delivery in multi-country projects. He holds an MSc in Finance (Grenoble Graduate School of Business) and a degree in Finance and International Relations (Universidad Externado de Colombia).
Partner — Innovative Finance & FemTech
Katherinne Quintero is a Partner at Alma Partners and leads the work in impact investing and financial innovation in Latin America. She has over 10 years of experience in capital markets, alternative investments, and development finance, structuring instruments such as blended finance, results-based financing, social and sustainable bonds, and impact-linked mechanisms alongside governments, multilaterales, investors, and philanthropy. She currently leads the regional portfolio of Innovative and Alternative Financing for Children (IF4C) at UNICEF LACRO and is a CAIA Charterholder.
